ELLARD operates ellard.store. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why we use it, and when it may be shared when you browse our website, contact us, subscribe to updates, or place an order.

Information we collect

Depending on how you interact with ELLARD, we may collect:

  • your name, email address, phone number, billing address, and delivery address;
  • order details, purchased products, returns, exchanges, refunds, and customer-support history;
  • payment status and limited transaction information supplied by payment providers;
  • bank, Easypaisa, or JazzCash details you voluntarily provide for a cash-on-delivery refund;
  • WhatsApp, email, contact-form, and other communications with us;
  • device, browser, IP address, cookie, site-usage, and advertising-interaction data; and
  • information needed to detect fraud, confirm cash-on-delivery orders, and protect the store.

ELLARD does not directly store complete card details. If card or other electronic payments are introduced, payment information will be handled by the payment provider shown at checkout.

How we use information

We may use personal information to:

  • confirm, process, deliver, and support orders;
  • process returns, exchanges, defect claims, and refunds;
  • communicate through email, phone, WhatsApp, or other channels about an order or enquiry;
  • prevent fraud, refused cash-on-delivery shipments, abuse, and security incidents;
  • operate, measure, secure, and improve the website and customer experience;
  • send marketing messages when you have subscribed or otherwise permitted them, with an option to unsubscribe; and
  • comply with applicable law and respond to lawful requests.

Shopify, Meta, couriers, and service providers

Our store is hosted by Shopify. Information submitted through the website is processed by Shopify to provide ecommerce, hosting, security, analytics, and related services.

We may share only the information reasonably required with:

  • courier and fulfilment providers to deliver, track, return, or exchange an order;
  • payment and refund providers to process transactions;
  • Shopify and technical service providers that operate and secure the store;
  • Meta and other analytics or advertising partners when their tools are active on the website; and
  • authorities or professional advisers when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect legal rights.

Some providers, including Shopify and Meta, may process information outside Pakistan under their own privacy and security terms.

Cookies and advertising

We use necessary cookies to operate the store. We may also use analytics and advertising technologies, including Meta Pixel and related server-side measurement, to understand website activity, measure campaigns, prevent fraud, and show relevant advertising. Browser settings and any consent controls displayed on the website can be used to manage non-essential cookies where available.

Retention and security

We retain information only for as long as reasonably needed for orders, customer service, fraud prevention, accounting, legal obligations, and dispute resolution. Refund account details are used for the requested refund and retained only as needed for transaction records and applicable obligations.

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system is completely secure.

Your choices

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information associated with you, subject to identity verification and any information we must retain for legal, fraud-prevention, or transaction-record purposes. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in the message.

Children

The store is not intended for children to transact without the involvement of a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children for independent purchases.

Policy changes

We may update this policy when our operations, technology, service providers, or legal obligations change. The revised date will appear at the top of this page.
