Every ELLARD product page identifies the materials used for that exact article. We avoid inflated leather and construction claims when they have not been technically confirmed.

Handcrafted character

Every ELLARD pair is handcrafted and individually finished. Genuine leather naturally varies, and small differences in grain, tone, stitching, edging, and polish can occur from pair to pair. These subtle variations are part of the making process and are not defects, provided the shoes otherwise materially match their description and photographs.

Leather care

• Wipe the footwear after wear with a soft, dry cloth.
• Allow damp footwear to air-dry naturally, away from direct heat and sunlight.
• Use a suitable leather conditioner sparingly and test it on a hidden area first.
• Do not soak, machine wash, or expose the footwear to prolonged water.
• Store with shoe trees or clean paper inside to help retain the shape.
